AI Tattoo Generator – Ink Art · Last updated October 4, 2026
This policy explains what information AI Tattoo Generator – Ink Art (“the app”, “we”) collects, why, and who it is shared with. It is written to match exactly what the app does.
Summary
- No ads, no tracking. We do not show third-party ads, do not collect your advertising identifier (IDFA), and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- AI features. Content you choose to submit is sent to Magic Hour AI, Inc. for processing — only after you agree on the in-app “Before we create your tattoo” screen.
- No account, no server of our own. Your designs, try-on photos and saved library are stored only on your device. Your design-credit balance is also backed up to your own iCloud account so purchased credits are not lost.
- We never sell your data.
1. What leaves your device
The table below lists everything that leaves your device.
Items sent to an AI provider are sent only after you agree on the in-app “Before we create your tattoo” screen. If you tap “Not now”, nothing is sent and the AI feature does not run.
| Data | Sent to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The tattoo description you type, plus the style, body placement and size you pick | Magic Hour AI, Inc. | Create the tattoo design you asked for |
| App-instance identifier, app version, device model, OS version, locale | Google Firebase (Remote Config) | Deliver app configuration |
| Usage events (no photos, no typed text), app-instance identifier, app and device info, approximate region, purchase events | Google Analytics for Firebase | Understand how the app is used and improve it |
| Credit balance and credit purchase/usage records | Apple (iCloud Key-Value Storage) | Back up your credits in your own iCloud account |
2. What stays on your device
- The designs you create, the try-on photos you save and your tattoo library.
- Try On runs entirely on your device with Apple's Vision and Core ML — the photo of your arm, back or chest is never uploaded.
- Your credit wallet, your AI-consent choice and your app settings.
- Delete everything at any time with Settings → Delete All Data.
What we do not collect:
- Your name, email address or any account — the app has no sign-in.
- Your photos — Try On never uploads them, and nothing from your photo library is sent anywhere.
- Your advertising identifier (IDFA), precise location, contacts or browsing history.
- Crash reports — the app does not include a crash-reporting SDK.
3. Device permissions
AI Tattoo Generator – Ink Art asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings.
- Camera — to take a photo inside the app and try a design on it. The photo stays on your device.
- Photos — to pick a photo to try a design on, import a design image, and save your results to your library. Photos are used only on your device.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with advertisers. We share data only with these service providers, each of which is bound by its own privacy policy and data-protection terms:
- Magic Hour AI, Inc. — Draws the tattoo design you ask for. Receives: the description you type and the style, body placement and size you pick — never your photos. Shared only with your in-app consent. Their privacy policy: magichour.ai/privacy-policy
- Google Firebase (Remote Config) — Delivers app configuration needed to create designs. Not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Receives: an app-instance identifier, app version, device model, OS version and locale that Firebase needs to deliver the configuration. Their privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Analytics for Firebase — Measures how the app is used (for example whether onboarding was finished, whether a design was created or a try-on saved, whether a purchase completed) so we can fix problems and improve the app. Not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Receives: usage events and their settings (never your photos and never the text you type), an app-instance identifier, app version, device model, OS version, locale, approximate region derived from your IP address, and purchase events (product and result). Their privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Apple (iCloud Key-Value Storage) — Keeps a backup of your design-credit balance in your own iCloud account so purchased credits come back when you reinstall or change device. Receives: your credit balance and credit purchase/usage records — no designs and no photos. Their privacy policy: www.apple.com/legal/privacy
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
5. How long we keep it
Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app. We do not run our own servers and keep no copy of the content you submit. AI providers process requests to return a result to you and retain request data only as described in their own policies. Analytics and crash data are kept for the provider's standard retention period.
6. Legal bases
For AI features we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. For analytics and crash diagnostics we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it. For purchases, we rely on performing our contract with you.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information. In the app you can:
- Withdraw AI consent in Settings → AI Data Sharing → Not now. Nothing more is sent to Magic Hour until you agree again; Try On keeps working.
- Revoke Camera or Photos access in iOS Settings.
- Delete your data in Settings → Delete All Data, or by deleting the app.
For any other request, email khoald2302.ai@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Tracking
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not access your advertising identifier (IDFA), so the app never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
