AI Tattoo Generator – Ink Art is an iOS app built and provided by me. This page explains exactly what data the app handles, what leaves your device, who receives it, and why.
In short: the app has no accounts and no analytics, so there is nothing for us to collect about you. One thing does leave your device: when you generate a tattoo design, the text description you type is sent to our AI image provider, MagicHour, so it can draw the image. Your photos never leave your iPhone.
When you ask the app to create a tattoo design, the following is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to MagicHour (magichour.ai), a third-party AI image generation service, for the sole purpose of generating that image:
That is the complete list. The following are not sent to MagicHour or to anyone else: your photos, your saved tattoo library, your name, your email address, your Apple ID, your IP-linked identity, or any advertising or device identifier.
The generated images are returned to your device and stored there. MagicHour acts as a service provider processing this request on our behalf, and is obligated not to use the data for any other purpose. Their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policy, which you can read at magichour.ai/privacy-policy.
You are asked first. Before the very first request is made, the app shows you a consent screen that names both the data being sent and MagicHour as the recipient. Nothing is sent unless you accept. If you decline, the app returns you to the previous screen and no request is made. You can review this at any time in Settings.
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in, and it does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth. There is no login, so there is no user profile.
The app does not track you. It contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. It does not collect your IP address, device identifiers or usage statistics, it does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and it does not share data with data brokers or advertising networks. This is why the app's App Store privacy label declares Data Not Collected.
Subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details, card number or billing address. Your subscription status is verified with Apple and stored on your device.
All network requests made by the app use encrypted HTTPS connections. Because the app stores your designs locally rather than on a server, there is no account database of ours to breach. Please note that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This app and this page contain links to other sites, such as MagicHour and Apple. Those sites are not operated by us and are governed by their own privacy policies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or practices of any third-party site or service.
This app is not intended for anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we ever change or add an AI provider. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the Effective Date above is updated to match. You are advised to review this page periodically.
